Jon Racherbaumer is usually home, specifically on the West Bank in historic Algiers Point across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter in New Orleans, Louisiana.

He is currently finishing three books: Mike Rogers’ No Pipe Dreams, a compendium and detailed history on Riffle Shuffle technique, and a book on the close-up mastery of Jimmy Grippo. He is simultaneously working on a metaphysical-mystery novel initially conceived in 1974.
